DIY Moby Wrap

I have seen people use these wraps for their new babies and have heard a lot of good things about them so I wanted to try it out. Since they are around $50-$80 in stores I decided to make one. It was super easy to make and only cost me $12. I found the fabric I wanted and was able to make three wraps out of it so I found two other people who wanted one to help pay for the fabric. You need 6 yards of a stretchy fabric, fold it in half (or in thirds) length wise and cut to make two (or three) 6 yard wraps. I have used the wrap quite a bit and love it.

Chalkboard Pot

For Teacher's appreciation week I made a pot for Landen's teacher. For the side of the pot I used chalkboard paint then wrote a message with chalk. I filled the pot with Smarties candies then added a water bottle, Spark, Breakfast bar, Snack bar, a few pieces of chalk and flowers. Landen was really excited to give it to his teacher!

Wreathes

I have been wanting to make a wreath for a while now. I found this Easter one and it looked so easy to make and I already had everything I needed so I made it. I really like the way it turned out. Cut out a cardboard the size you want then glue the first layer of plastic eggs on with a hot glue gun. I stuck grass in between the eggs then glue the next layer on. Put a bow on to finish it off.

Here is one I made for Halloween. I took an old frame and spray painted it Orange. Then made the web and spider out of yarn.

Maternity Skirt

Now that I am pregnant and none of my skirts fit me I decided to make one that would fit through my whole pregnancy. This was a really easy pattern to make. I got the pattern from icandyhandmade.

I was really excited to make this one! It ended up being to small so it will be a post-pregnancy skirt.

Ties

Here are some ties I made for the boys.

This was a 4th of July tie I made for Drew but it was to short for him so I cut it  and made it into two small ties.
I had some scrap fabric that I made these with. They are the boys favorite ties!
